Moyar Check Dam - Masinagudi

Around Masinagudi we don’t have much places to visit (at least I couldn’t find). In evening we decided to visit Moyar check dam which was around 10 Kms from the hotel which we stayed in Masinagudi. This place can be reached in our own vehicles or we can get a taxi/jeep rides from Masinagudi.

Spotted couple of Peacocks and deer’s on the way to the dam. 

























Route was very good and took around 15 minutes for us to reach the dam. Once we reached there it drizzling and could not spend much time around this place. There is nothing to do much as well around this place, saw only couple of tourists and localities walking across this check dam.




















But the route was very good and clicked couple of pics while coming back.

























Though its not so worth visit place, the drive would be very beautiful across this route 😊

One thing I most liked about Masinagudi was, they banned usage of plastic and they are following it very strictly 😊

Horsley Hills is one of the perfect weekend getaway from Bengaluru, a bike ride to Horsley Hills offers a thrilling and scenic adventure. Located in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, Horsley Hills is approximately 150 KM from Bengaluru, making it an ideal destination for a short road trip.   We can take multiple routes to reach Horsley Hills but we chose,   Bengaluru – Hoskote – Chintamani – Madanapalle – Horsley Hills route. Sri Dharmagiri Manjunathaswamy Devalaya

Sri Dharmagiri Manjunatha Swamy Temple is a very Popular Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located near Banashankari 2 nd stage. Devotees visit this temple on a daily basis as Regular Bhajans and Veda chanting are conducted at this temple. Temple is open for the visitors from Morning 7.30 Am to 11.30 Am and evening 05.30 Pm to 08.30 Pm. This is very good temple to visit with family, it provides peace to mind and heart of the devotees while walking across this temple.
