A Drive Full of Memories

Sometimes, the best trips aren’t about the destination—they’re about the people you travel with. After almost five years, our group finally managed to reunite and relive the good old days with a weekend getaway to Virajpet, Coorg. 🚗✨

🚙 The Journey Begins

Knowing it was only about a 5-hour drive from Bengaluru (around 260 km), we started on Friday night with no rush. Instead of heading straight to our destination, we decided to revisit the places that held so many memories.

Our first stop was the Maddur Coffee Day, where we spent a couple of hours chatting over coffee. It used to be our regular meeting spot years ago, and sitting there again brought back countless memories. ☕😊

From there, we drove to Mysuru and stopped near the beautifully lit Mysuru Palace. The palace looked stunning at night, making it the perfect place for a few group photos. 📸✨



Our next stop was near Hunsur. There wasn’t any special reason—we simply parked the vehicles, talked, laughed, and enjoyed each other’s company. Sometimes, those unplanned moments become the best memories. 😄

🏡 Reaching Virajpet

Around 7 AM, we continued our journey and made one more special stop at Mahesh’s college. It had been 20 years since he last visited, and watching him relive his college memories made the visit even more meaningful. ❤️

Soon after, we reached our homestay, Tapasya, near Virajpet. Surrounded by greenery, pleasant weather, and peaceful surroundings, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. 🌿🍃

🌳 A Refreshing Drive Through Nagarahole

On our return journey, we chose the scenic Nagarahole Forest route, hoping to spot some wildlife. Unfortunately, luck wasn’t on our side this time, and we didn’t see any wild animals. 🦌🙈







But honestly, the drive through the lush green forest was reward enough. The fresh air, beautiful roads, and peaceful surroundings made it a refreshing experience.

This trip reminded us that life gets busy, but friendships should never be left behind. More than the destination, it was the laughter, endless conversations, old memories, and the joy of being together again that made this trip truly unforgettable.

Kabbalu Betta Trekking

Kabbalu betta trekking is one of the options for the hikers around bengaluru and located near Kanakapura talluku. Its   around 80Kms from Bengaluru. We have couple of options to reach Kabbalu:  Bangalore > Ramnagar > Chenpatna > Kabbalu (82 KMs) Bangalore > Kanakapura > Satanuru >Kabbalu (87 Kms) I had been to this place many times before but could not get a change to trek this hill, it is one of the best places for those who wish to start trekking.  Since it’s a last minute plan, could not invite anyone for this trekking. But the special thing about this trekking is my brother Kiran joined me for this trekking. Mawsawdong Falls

We kicked off our day in Cherrapunji with excitement, ready to explore some amazing spots nearby. Our first stop was Mawsmai Caves , one of the popular attractions in the area. The cave isn’t too long, but it’s packed with interesting spots and unique formations. This little adventure set the tone for the rest of our day. To get to Mawsawdong Falls, we drove a short distance from our earlier stops. The path to the falls took us through small villages, scenic hills, and patches of thick green forest, giving us a glimpse of the peaceful countryside. Once we arrived, we followed a short, easy trail that led us down to the waterfall. The water flowed gracefully over the rocks, creating a beautiful cascade. Unlike some of the bigger waterfalls in the area, Mawsawdong has a calm and peaceful vibe. The falls flow into a clear, natural pool below, with rocks and trees surrounding the area.
