When we were in Chintamani, we had the opportunity to visit this beautiful place.

Located about 80 km from Bengaluru, the drive to Vaddahalli is a refreshing experience. As you leave the city behind, you’ll find yourself surrounded by lush greenery and quiet village roads. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu in his reclining form as Anantha Padmanabha Swami. The architecture is simple yet captivating, exuding a divine energy that immediately calms your mind. Since it’s relatively unknown, the temple is rarely crowded, making it an ideal spot for meditation and peaceful contemplation. You can spend time admiring the temple’s charm, participating in prayers, or simply soaking in the tranquil atmosphere.

After visiting the temple, head towards Kailasagiri, which is about 20 km away. This hill offers breathtaking views and is a great spot for nature lovers. The climb is not too difficult, and the top rewards you with panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. It’s also a good spot for a quick picnic or some photography.




Kaiwara:

On your way back, don’t miss Kaiwara, a place of spiritual significance. Known for its connection with the saint-poet Narayanappa, Kaiwara has a calming vibe and offers several temples to explore. The Kaiwara Tapovana is especially worth visiting for its serene surroundings.
