After a refreshing stop at Balmuri Falls, we continued our journey to Katipadu Estate — a calm and peaceful place tucked away in nature. The moment we entered, the fresh air, greenery, and quiet surroundings made us feel relaxed instantly. 🌿

Katipadu Estate is a beautiful green getaway, perfect for anyone looking to escape the city rush. It’s surrounded by tall trees, coffee plants, and a serene atmosphere. You can enjoy long nature walks, listen to birds, and just unwind.

This place is perfect for a photoshoot! 📸 We spent some time capturing pictures around the estate and ended up getting some really good profile shots for everyone. The natural light and greenery made every photo look amazing. 🌿✨

During our visit, we even spotted a few birds 🐦, which made the experience even better!

We also took a short drive to the stunning Iruppu Falls, which is only 5 km from the estate. The waterfall looked beautiful and added a refreshing touch to our trip. 💧🌲

As the evening lights turned on, the entire place looked even more beautiful. ✨ The soft glow across the estate created a magical atmosphere, making it feel like we had stepped into a completely different world. The pathways, trees, and cottages lit up gently, giving the surroundings a warm and dreamy charm. It was one of those moments where everything felt peaceful, calm, and picture-perfect — the kind of experience that stays with you long after the trip ends. 🌙💛🌿

Bhima Bakasura Betta

There are lot of historical places around Namma Bengaluru, one such place is Bheema Bakasura betta which is around 70 Kms from Bengaluru. This hill is located in a small village called Kaiwara, Chikkaballapura district. This place is more famous for many other temples say Kaiwara Tatayya temple, Amaranarayana Swamy Temple & Bhemmalingeshwara Temple.   History of Kaiwara betta: Kaiwara also has various stories attached to Ramayana & Mahabharata. Mythology has it that Bhima killed Bakasura during the exile period of the Pandavas when they stayed at Kaiwara. From past one year I have covered most of the hills around Chintamani and this was pending in the list. One weekend we started this trek early morning (just to avoid the heat). Mawsawdong Falls

We kicked off our day in Cherrapunji with excitement, ready to explore some amazing spots nearby. Our first stop was Mawsmai Caves , one of the popular attractions in the area. The cave isn’t too long, but it’s packed with interesting spots and unique formations. This little adventure set the tone for the rest of our day. To get to Mawsawdong Falls, we drove a short distance from our earlier stops. The path to the falls took us through small villages, scenic hills, and patches of thick green forest, giving us a glimpse of the peaceful countryside. Once we arrived, we followed a short, easy trail that led us down to the waterfall. The water flowed gracefully over the rocks, creating a beautiful cascade. Unlike some of the bigger waterfalls in the area, Mawsawdong has a calm and peaceful vibe. The falls flow into a clear, natural pool below, with rocks and trees surrounding the area.
