Ride to Lepakshi

Lepakshi had been on my travel list for a long time. Even though summer is not the ideal season for a bike ride, I finally decided to make this long-awaited trip happen. Harshith joined me for the journey, making the ride even more enjoyable. 😊

📍 Lepakshi – A Blend of History and Art

Located about 125 km from Bengaluru in Andhra Pradesh, Lepakshi is famous for its centuries-old Veerabhadra Temple, known for its stunning Vijayanagara-style architecture, hanging pillar, and beautiful carvings. The temple is believed to have been built in the 16th century and holds great historical and cultural significance.

We started our ride at around 6:00 AM from Bengaluru and reached Lepakshi by 8:30 AM. Even at that early hour, the summer heat had started making its presence felt. Without wasting any time, we entered the temple and had darshana. 🙏

After exploring the temple, admiring its intricate sculptures, and clicking a few memorable pictures, we spent some time soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of the place. 📸
