The Archaeological Museum is the most popular museum in Goa. Set up by Archaeological Survey of India in 1964, it was recognized in 1982. Now, maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), it is one of the most visited places in Old Goa. It is located around 9 km from Panaji. The 450-year-old  Mangeshi Temple in Goa  is located in Priol village of Ponda taluka. It is also known as Shri Mangesh Temple. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple stands out in the village with its simple yet exquisite structure. From Panjii its around 22 Kms away and takes close to 40 mins to reach. The temple also features a magnificent water tank, which some believe is the oldest part of  Mangeshi Temple in Goa . There is a gate just outside the premises with parking for vehicles. Though, the car goes till the main stairs of the temple, the tourist vehicles are not allowed while local vehicles are allowed inside the gate. Visitors have to walk for around 10 minutes to reach the temple. Arambol Beach in Goa  is about 50 kilometers from Panaji. It is situated at northern part of Goa. Compared to other beaches in Goa its very peaceful and equally beautiful. This beach is not that well known among Indian visitors.  Even though the Arambol Beach is located in far north end of Goa, we can reach this place without any issue. We can get cabs easily to reach this place, but felt bit expensive. Each time they charged different amount!  We booked  Lotus Sutra  Resorts for our stay at Arambol for 2 days. Its located next to beach, but because of the heavy rain entry to beach was restricted. Even the cottages and most of the resorts were covered. As everyone know, Bangalore is famous for IT hubs and Pubs. It equally a home for many historical places. One such place is Bangalore Fort, I am sure many people won’t be aware of this small place situated at centre of the city.   Bangalore fort is just at a walkable distance from Tippu sultan Summer palace. Nearest bus stop is city market and metro is also a best option to reach this place.   History of Bangalore Fort: According to historical records, Naada Prabhu Kempegowda built the Fort in 1537 and Hyder Ali strengthened it further in 1761. Hyder Ali’s son Tipu Sultan made some improvements to the fort during his rule. The original fort was much bigger than what remains now.   There is no entry fee (as of May 2022) - we just need to fill our details before entering to fort. Drive to Chikkamagaluru was planned on special occasion. It was our 5th year wedding anniversary. We planned and booked the resort Eagle Eye Resorts. Eagle Eye Resorts is located deep in the lush Western Ghats. The location is too good, drive through Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary to reach the Resort is also very beautiful 🙂 Eagle Eye Resort is around 285Kms from Bengaluru, and it takes around 6 to 7 hours to reach the destination (depends on the stops). We started early morning to avoid the traffic, stopped near Hassan for Breakfast. Visited Shri Gajanana Refreshments for breakfast. Had Tuppa Set Dose which is famous at this place and continued our journey. Reached our destination around 1.00 PM. Trip with this group is always fun. We didn’t had any plan for this trip, destination not planned & no prior arrangements for stay (when we don’t know where we will be going then this point become irrelevant   )  Plan was just to catch up at 6.00 AM and once every one are picked later to decide on the destination.
